BioI'm a midwest refugee living in the wonderful city of Eugene, OR on a street that allows bikes both ways but cars only one. I live with 24 people in an all-organic, all-vegan community called the Lorax.
I make organic vegan pastries in a wood-burning oven for money (can you believe they pay me to do that?), and I'm currently attending "The Most Sustainable Community College in the US" (Lane Community College) to learn about solar panels, environmental economics and mushrooms.
I'm biking from New Orleans to Canada this summer with an organization called Bike Aid, educating people along the way about the implications of global warming.
My bicycle is the sexiest creature you've ever met. Okay, well, on the top 10. Her name is Giselle, and like me, she's small. (48 cm and 150 cm, respectively.)
Someday, I hope to get my MLIS.
I like to get mail and I'd be glad to trade addresses.
